Não sei um termo certo para definir essa banda finlandesa. Epic Metal eu poderia arriscar devido ao uso do teclado. Com letras que envolvem as obras de Tolkien, é uma espécie de mistura com Folk Metal e Doom Metal, embora não seja tão pesado quanto este segundo. Enfim, apenas vale dizer que é uma ótima banda. Destaque aos vocais femininos por parte de Kaisa Jouhki.

Outra banda de Black Metal dos EUA. A banda possui apenas esse album de 2004 por enquanto, pois romperam com a gravadora e parece que estão com dificuldades em encontrar outra, ou talvez a banda já tenha acabado mesmo. Enfim, ao menos gravaram esse que é um excelente album. BM de primeira!

Esta semana resolvi procurar e ouvir bandas pouco conhecidas dentro do cenário mundial. Uma delas é essa banda de Black Metal da Pensilvania, EUA. Acabei me impressionando, pois o album é muito bem gravado. Banda muito boa!

Ainda melhor que o primeiro, com músicas até um tanto compridas, o que é raro em uma banda de Thrash. Destaques para as matadoras Personal Exorcism e a faixa-título.

Ai está um álbum que superou o Armada! É válido ressaltar que esse é um álbum menos Black Metal que os anteriores, como se pode confirmar em músicas como The Dragontower, mas é um álbum excelente. Riffs simplesmente geniais, músicas épicas! Até agora o melhor lançamento de 2010 em minha opinião. Destaco aqui The Awakening, estupidamente perfeita! A parte que entra o vocal é desumana!

Banda da Jordânia que mistura Death/Doom Metal com música oriental tradicional da região, o que a torna no mínimo interessante. Lembra bastante Novembers Doom em algumas músicas.

Supergrupo formado por Shagrath (vocais do Dimmu Borgir) e King ov Hell (baixista do Gorgoroth). Para esse debut também foram convidados Teloch (Gorgoroth) e Ice Dale (Enslaved) nas guitarras, e Frost (Satyricon) na bateria. BM cru e clássico, com Shagrath detona ndo nos vocais., embora não tenha nada de muito surpreendente nas músicas. Claro que pra quem gosta de um bom BM, prato cheio. Destaque para Invoker e Perpetual Night.
